Location
Military College of Signals is located in the heart of Rawalpindi on Humayun road
(Lalkurti) , closer to the General Headquarters and Combined Military Hospital.
College is approximately 5 kilometres from the Islamabad International Airport,
3 kilometres from the Rawalpindi Railway Station. Prime shopping centre of Sadder
is about 2 kilometres from the college. 24 hours rail, road and Air transportation
facilities are available.
Climate
Rawalpindi is a major city with a population of over a million and located 510 meters
above sea level. The climate is tropical with moderate temperatures during the entire
year. It lies on the historic Grand Trunk road built by Afghan ruler Sher Shah Suri
in the 16th Century. Summer resorts like Murree, Abbotabad, historical monuments
of Taxila and world’s largest earth-filled Terbela and Mangla Dams are located within
30-100 kilometers from Rawalpindi.
