Syed Muhammad Ali Abidi received his BE, MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Rawalpindi in 2001 and 2011 respectively. His research interest includes Designing of polarization controller in optical fiber and indexing and retrieval of text images in digitized Urdu printed Documents using word spotting Technique,. He has recently published a “Towards Searchable Digital Urdu Libraries - A Word Spotting Based Retrieval Approach” research papers in an international journal and conference proceedings. He has published a book titled Indexing and Retrieval of Text Images Using Word Spotting in LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing (July 14,2011).
