QS Subject-Wise Rankings 2022: NUST at the top in seven subject areas in Pakistan

With the grace of Almighty Allah, NUST has once again been featured amongst the world’s elite institutions in QS subject-wise rankings and as the best engineering and technology university in Pakistan while improving from 214 to 179 globally.

NUST has been featured amongst the topmost institutions in 12 subjects globally this year compared to 9 last year. NUST has improved its global ranking while being the best in Pakistan in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (201-250 → 151-200), Computer Science (143 → 131), Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering (301-350 → 251-300), and Chemical Engineering (251-300 → 201-250), while being ranked globally for the first time as best in Pakistan in Civil and Structural Engineering (Top 200), Material Sciences (Top 350), and Environmental Sciences (Top 450).
