The Military College of Signals (MCS) successfully hosted its Open House 2025 on 29th April 2025, providing a vibrant platform for the graduating students of Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, and Information Security programs to showcase their capstone design projects. This annual event served not only as a testament to the students’ strong technical skills and creative ideas but also proved that they can solve real-life problems using practical and research-based solutions.
The Open House was honored by the presence of Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), who attended the event as the Chief Guest. Dr. Ahmed
toured numerous project displays, engaged in thoughtful dialogue with student teams, and expressed his admiration for the depth of technical knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills exhibited by the participants. He applauded the academic environment fostered by MCS, emphasizing its significant role in cultivating future leaders and professionals in Pakistan’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.
A remarkable highlight of the event was the enthusiastic participation of 43 leading industry organizations from diverse sectors, including defense, telecommunications, software development, embedded systems, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and IoT etc. Among these, 22 companies actively conducted on-site interviews, identifying and shortlisting potential candidates for various technical roles. This strong industry presence demonstrated the high regard in which MCS graduates are held and reinforced the institution’s reputation for producing competent, job-ready professionals equipped to meet current and future industry demands.
