Dr. Mehmood Alam received his Bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Systems Engineering from School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, NUST, MS in Electrical (Telecom) Engineering from Military College of Signals, NUST, and Ph.D. from Aarhus University, Denmark, in 2011, 2014 and 2019, respectively. Dr. Mehmood served as an Assistant Executive Engineer at National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation, Haripur, Pakistan from 2011 to 2013. His research interests include wireless communication, non-orthogonal multiple access schemes, compressive sensing based multiuser detection, and massive machine-type communication.
