Summary

Dr. Muhammad Ashiq did his B.Sc. from Punjab University, Lahore in 1986 and M.Sc. in 1988, M.Phil. in 1991 and Ph.D in 2005 from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He has served on different instructional and staff appointments. He has also remained on the faculties of Military College Jhelum, College of E & ME, Rawalpindi, Military College of Engineering, Risalpur, and National University of Technology (NUTECH), Islamabad. He has done most of his professional courses with distinction. He is the author of 26 research papers. They are published in international journals of high repute. He has the honour and privilege of representing Pakistan on international forum. He is one of the two mathematicians, from all over the country who represented Pakistan in International Congress of Mathematicians-2002 in China and then 2006 in Spain.
