Dr. Muhammad Sohail is a distinguished scholar with over five years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Defined Networks, Computer Networks & Information Security, and Wireless Communication. Recognized as the Best Researcher (2019-2020), he has authored over 20 publications in prestigious impact-factor journals and is actively supervising multiple Ph.D/MS students while having successfully supervised multiple MS students. Dr. Sohail is currently serving as Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) and Team member on funded research projects. He has contributed as a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member at IEEE-ComTech 2025 and the 58th Asia Pacific Advanced Network (APAN) Meeting, held from August 26–30, 2024, in Islamabad, Pakistan. Previously, he served as the Organizing Co-Chair for IEEE-ComTech 2023 and as the Technical Co-Chair of IEEE-ITIA 2020, hosted by Jiangsu University, China. In addition, Dr. Sohail is an editorial team member and reviewer for several reputed academic journals, including Neural Computing and Applications, EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, Sustainable Cities and Society, IET Information Security, IET Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, Cluster Computing, and IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics.
