Community Service Society – Blood Donation Drive

The Military College of Signals (MCS), in collaboration with the Armed Forces Institute of Transfusion (AFIT), marked a milestone with its blood donation drive on the 6th of March 2024 at the Qasid Complex. Aiming to foster a culture of altruism among its students, the MCS Community Service Society spearheaded this initiative, successfully bringing together the vibrant energy of youthful volunteers and the expertise of AFIT’s medical professionals to achieve a noble cause. Through meticulous organization and a comprehensive awareness campaign, the drive not only reached but slightly surpassed its ambitious target, securing 101 pints of blood, thereby setting a precedent in the domain of campus-led community service endeavors. This tangible expression of solidarity and generosity epitomizes how academic institutions can significantly contribute to critical healthcare initiatives, underlying the sheer power of collective humanitarian efforts in saving and improving lives.
