I am Dr. Mian Muhammad Waseem Iqbal, currently employed as Associate Professor at National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. Moreover, I have worked on various administrative positions (Training Officer, Coordination Officer, PG Prog Coordination) at Dept of Information Security (NUST) since 2012. Other than this, my professional services include, but not limited to Industry Consultation, Workshops Organizer/Resource Person (International Workshops/Seminars), Technical Program Committee member, Member Accreditation team, Conference Chief Organizer, Invited Speaker, Teaching (UG/PG/PhD) courses, Research & Development, and Guest Editor/reviewer for several international journals/conferences. I am an academician and researcher since 2012 and have published more than 70 scientific research articles (Impact Factor ~ 175) related to healthcare security, digital forensics, cryptography, IoT security etc in prestigious international journals (ISI-Indexed) like IEEE Comm Surveys & Tutorials, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, ACM Computing Surveys, Future Generation Computer Systems, Multimedia Tools and Applications, IEEE Sensors, Systems Journal etc., along with reputed conferences like “ICC”. I am currently supervising 3 x PhD, 8 x MS and Co-Supervising 2 x PhD students. 20 MS students have already passed out under my Supervision. I have won 10 funded projects as Principal and Co-Principal investigator worth 226.8 M PKR from Industry, NUST Def RnD, and European Union (Erasmus+). Furthermore, I have conducted more than 15 CEH, CHFI, CSCU, and Forensics practical hands-on workshops for industry and public sector. I also have the honor of serving as Think Tank member at National Security Division on Cyber (Government of Pakistan). In recognition of my services, I was awarded Overall University Best Teacher Award.
