ABOUT DEPARTMENT
The department of Electrical Engineering at Military College of Signals with its inherent strength of profound traditions and cherished history of being the 1st Telecommunication Engineering Department at any Pakistani university imparts engineering education to undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral students while grooming them as able researchers, clear communicators and morally sound members of the society. Its Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical (telecommunication) Engineering is accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) under newly adopted Object Base Education (OBE) system under Washington Accord. So far, 50 batches have graduated from this prestigious department. The department is well known for its high quality research in different areas of Electrical and Communication engineering including Software Designed Radio (SDR), Massive MIMO (Multiple input multiple output) systems, mm Wave techniques, Modern Antenna Systems, Image Processing, Control Systems and various other domains of Telecommunication.

By incorporating stronger ethics and entrepreneurship components, our academic programme aims to better prepare the students for new challenges in the area of electrical engineering. We are committed to give our students an environment where they would be able to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they advance through the program. In addition to class room teaching, the students are guided and motivated to practically implement the principles learnt in classroom through experimentation in the laboratories which help them gain confidence and become skilled engineering professionals. As we strive to be at the forefront of research, we believe in maintaining excellent relationship with industry and leading research centers, where our students can be engaged on joint projects, training and internships.
